Since not all of the coding that you can find for VAG cars [Octavia, Superb, Golf, etc] work for Skoda Kodiaq, I decided to collect the tried and tested adaptations in one place.
All adaptations can be done with OBDeleven Pro device and proper phone Application, i.e. Car Diagnostics Pro VAG OBD2.
Remarks:
1. It is highly recommend to make backup before changing anything in control unit. Backup will read all adaptation channels and coding and store it into backup file. Backup file can be accessed in history screen.
2. After use, disconnect [in the App] and/or remove [from the car] the device due to the risk of draining the battery.
3. You perform any of these changes at your own risk. If you aren't sure, don't do it!
You can find more info about the device and application here.

There seems to be some misconception about OBDeleven: that you need to purchase or earn credits in order to use the device. However, all the adaptations listed above can be done via "Adaptation" or "Long coding" options that do not require to purchase/spend any credits.
Credits are only used for so called "Apps", i.e. "one-click" adaptations for those who do not want to play with coding features of the device.
For now there are few Apps (with new ones added every month or so) available for Kodiaq, e.g.:
- Mirror dip
- High beam memory
- Lock/Unlock acoustic confirmation
- DRL settings in head unit
- Video in motion
- Brake pads replacement
- Inspection service reset
- Oil service reset
- High Beam Assist
- DRLs off with handbrake
- Window function from remote
- MirrorLink in motion
- Auto folding mirrors
Frankly, I have not tried any of the "one-click" Apps above, as I prefer to have full control over what I do.
So, all you really need is to purchase the device for 65 EUR. This includes "Pro version" activation and free life-time software updates.
This is much cheaper than £200 or £575 for VCDS "dealer level connectivity" that in my opinion most of us do not really need.
Just to show you how easy it is to do adaptation via OBDeleven, please see pictorial instruction for disabling Start/Stop:
1. Open the Application on your phone and press "Connect"
2. Go to "Menu" [blue circle with three lines at the lower right corner of the screen]
3. Select control unit "19 -Gateway"
4. Select "Adaptation"
5. Find and select "Start/stop start voltage limit"
5. Change value from 7.6 V to 12.1 V
6. After changing the value press and hold green circle to accept the adaptation
Done!
Have fun and play responsibly
