I know this was something very stupid of me to do. I thought I backed it all up but my phone is saying otherwise. While I was in the Control units list I removed a few things and now I am unable to use my digital speed meter on my cluster (as well as other options that were on there and now left with just the temp.) and the steering wheel controls have stopped. I still have cruise control working just fine, whippers, turning signals and just about everything else that there is. I was fiddling around hoping I could find a way to remove my indicator light for my bulb out error. (The back story to that bellow.)
I got the bulb out error a while ago. Not sure what happened just one day stopped having my left back 2 taillights. I tried replacing the bulbs, checking for power, etc. Ended up snipping the cable that leads to the bulb and wiring the right side to the left on both taillights there. Now I have light. Not sure why but I could not figure out what else the issue could be. I searched high and low and could never find the answer. If someone could please give me an olive branch here and help me out I would appreciate it so much. Sadly enough I am new to long coding and such so I am kinda learning as I go. If there is any way to send me a backup or anything like that please let me know I would be happy to try. I do have an android so I can mess around with files.

abel very sorry but this is not my car so I cant give you a backup. However if you go to your history section it will show you all the changes you have made. The first change will show the original setup and the first change you made so I would hope that you can restore the long coding back to how it was to start with. (see pic below)
Also in the history it will show you all the changes you have made so I would suggest you post up you history file here so we can try and look through and see what has been changed.

Aslong as you made the changes with OBDeleven there will be a history of every change you have done. Check this out: obdeleven.proboards.com/post/7635Email the history to yourself and also post it here so others could help you out. Edit, I type too slow it seems.

First of all. I love you guys. I did go back into the history and got the cluster to show everything normal again. But the steering wheel is something I have not messed with. Only removed the Control Unit. (From what I remember and quickly scrolled through history and saw of at least). I looked about and found that the steering wheel is in category 09 central electrics. But could not enable the option correctly. It does say it is on. But then again I am using an aftermarket head unit. The only catch to that is... It was working perfectly fine before I tinkered with the options. I suspect that there is some sort of "memory" to the button layout configuration and not just simply turning it on and off again. has anyone else had to "reprogram" their button layout before?

Not sure if I am going crazy or not but I am not getting an option for 16-steering wheel... can anyone else confirm that they get the option or not?

Yes that is correct. Just got it earlier this morning and started at around 11am est. Currently, I found out there are subsystems and am currently trying to figure that out.

OK Thats good, for now I would not make any more changes.
So on Control unit 03 you have changed Byte 17 from 10 to 14 which means you have ticked Bit 2

On control unit 17 Dashboard you have
changed the Multifunction indicator: from no to yes (I presume this is using the 1 codes)
And we can see in the 0 codes you have changed Byte 01 from AO (Bit 5 & 7 ticked) to 02 (Bit 2 ticked)
I will check out the 09 later tonight.

And finally on control unit 09 you have made a few changed but the difference between the start and end is
Byte 19 has a value of 0E (bIt 1, 2 & 3 Ticked) but was originally 2E (bit 1,2,3 & 5 ticked)
Hope that helps.

Sorry I have been pre-occupied. I will look into all of this tomorrow when I get a chance. Thanks for all the help. I will report back and let you know. I am glad I at least have the digital speed running again. Actually better than before, now it actually remembers to start at the digital speed instead of having to switch to it all the time. Honestly, I am kinda glad I did mess with everything. Now my cruise control is acting right again and I think my windshield whippers are working as they should instead of randomly stopping while in on mode. Still need to test and verify.
