Will OBDEleven or VCDS (basic) tweaks interfere with my tune (stage 1) ? I am planning on buying OBD Eleven Pro to enable ESC sport mode on my MK7 and using the device as a scan tool.

mvfighter: Hmm........that's a very broad question!! Answer has to be "it depends" on what you are intending to do with the diagnostic device and it also depends on how the tuner modifies the ECU. There's lots of ways of doing both! As a general comment it's not normally a problem using a diagnostic device on a car that had the ECU tuned albeit on these modules sometimes the tuning can create some interesting (meaning difficult to understand) error messages - if stuff goes wrong!!
If you intend to "enable ESC sport mode" - ask the tuner if his/her particular way of changing the ECU software will be problematic.

PS: I'm fairly certain that ESP sport mode is SWAP (Software As Product)- meaning that you won't be able to use either OBD11, or VCDS to enable this facility if your car doesn't it as factory fitted (I suspect that you need to buy a license that's keyed to the car's VIN from a dealer - I think)
