Hello everyone. I have a problem maybe someone of you has a solution. I have left with me Line Asistent and that does not work but big problem now makes ACC and although the car does not stop any more by itself when in front of me stands other car it brakes only when car before me moves or drives. Before has braked no matter whether in front of me car stands or drives. Of course only 30 km / h. ACC was standard, but not a line assistant.

Hello brunotoga, i only have the coding for normal halogen indicator to stays on. But this would not help you because the r golf has led front indicators and they will be named not identic with halogen (leuchte.....) the next problem is you can not tell the led indicators how bright they are illuminated they are on with full brightness or off, thats what i read in web. With halogen indicator you can set the brightness like you want to or dimm them with footwell lights. Here is coding for halogen front indicator (this will not work for you i think) obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/167/coding-adaptationsHere is coding for dimmable with footwell lights obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/630/click-apps-requests

Got my Rear LED Tail Lights from BEC which did not come with OBDeleven instructions. Can someone help me out? I'd like the turn signals to be the amber bulbs instead of the outer red lights, and currently, when I have the lights on (not DRL), all bulbs are lit, including the amber and the outer red lights act as the turn signal. So, I need to program it where the ambers are off unless a turn signal is on, in other words. Thank you! I too purchased from BEC and there are coding instruction with the paper work that comes with the package. I ordered a set of DAP led tail light harnesses to use instead of BEC's. As DAP's will run both inner and outer light assemblies as brakes. Plus there's an app for DAP harnesses to code the amber turn signals. I'll have to code the rear foglight by myself after I get a new headlight switch W/fog.

Is there any way to change the sensitivity of the auto headlight? How bright it need to be for it to change to DRL from low beam?
Thanks, Fredirk

Is there any way to change the sensitivity of the auto headlight? How bright it need to be for it to change to DRL from low beam? Thanks, Fredirk frmswe: Short answer Yes!
Longer answer: The light sensor on a mk7 that operates the threshold level for the AUTO position on the rotary light switch is what VCDS calls a "slave module" to the BCM (the thing that OBD11 calls Central electrics @ address hex09). OBD11 calls "slave modules" Subsystems, so it's just a matter of accessing this sensor and modifying the code-string.
The OEM Light sensor is part of the enclosure that also houses the rain sensor (it's one of the blue dots that's embedded in the blob that's glued to the windshield) . On some mk7s, the rain/light sensor also houses the humidity sensor too. I'm not sure what type of light sensor you have - VW have installed 3 x different types: RLS, or RLHS. or RLHS but it doesn't matter for this tweak - see instructions below.
Don Note: all the adjustments are for earlier switch-on. If you want later switch-on your out-of-luck!!

Admin (or anyone), your instructions seem to leave out what to select after Adaptations. I can't find where to make the changes. Am I missing something? Im using the app in English. Thanks a lot

Admin (or anyone), your instructions seem to leave out what to select after Adaptations. I can't find where to make the changes. Am I missing something? Im using the app in English. Thanks a lot lowtech: Hello. What exactly are you trying to do? You sound like you are new to Adaptation channels, so forgive me if I assume too little! Adaptation channel names (the way that OBD11 identifies them, at least) have two parts: The "Parent" part and the "Child" part. The Parent part of the name normally forms a group which is associated with one, or more children - so one Parent name can be associated with many Child names, but a single Child name can only have one Parent name. This naming structure comes from database nomenclature, but it's also a useful way to think about Adaptation channel names as well IMO So - generally, after you select Adaptations in OBD11, the very next task is to find the specific adaptation channel name that you want to change(so that you can alter the setting for the chosen adaptation channel). To do this you usually start by searching for the "Parent" part of the adaptation channel name (if you can't immediately see the "Parent" name on the screen). A keyboard generally is invoked by OBD11 for this purpose and as you start typing, the list of possible choices diminishes until you have one, or two to choose from. Once you have found and selected the "Parent" name, OBD11 normally presents another screen which contains all the Child names that are associated with your selected Parent name. Once you have selected the "Child" name, you have access to the complete adaptation channel. It's that easy!! Don

I'm admittedly new and struggling. My trouble is finding the step after Adaptations. Ive summoned the keyboard to search for what would be the "child" parameters to no avail. For example seat belt warning deactivation: Once in Adaptations I get stuck. I got the long coding part sorted out. Is there a reason why the "parent" field isn't included in the instructions from Admin? Should I be translating to german? Thank you for your patience and help.

Lowtech: Thanks not required - I recall how difficult all this stuff was when I first started! So, this tweak is even simpler because the adaptation channel only has a Parent name - which is similar, but a little different to the name in your instructions! Try the sequence below, but after you change the entry on the last picture to yes and then you press the green tick at the RHS bottom of the screen (to accept the change), I'm fairly certain that you will get another screen asking that you enter a security number - just type in 20103 and you should be good to go! Don

Hello All,
Can anyone help me with an issue where I am missing several adaptations in Central electrics?
The missing adaptations include 2- Access Control and Zugangskontrolle. These adaptations are necessary for a few functions I really want to enable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

ESC off, is it possible to do with OBDeleven? Thanks, Fredrik Fredik: The short answer is Yes - but the software switch for ESC is in Byte 29 of the Brakes 1 module @ address hex03. So the tweak only works for those control modules that have 30 Bytes in their code string
The longer answer goes something like this:
Step 1: Select the Brakes 1 control module Step 2: Select coding Step 3: Press the 0/1 box on the top RHS of the screen so that you get the list of Byte-values along the top and the Bit boxes (like the pictures below) Step 4: Keep pressing the green ">" symbol until you select Byte 29, which should be the last Byte in the code-string and the value should be Hex09 - don't proceed if this is not the case Step 5: Chose which option is preferred (lot's of folk like the middle screen option -hex06) - The 3 x settings in the sequence is: ignition on - short button press - long button press Step 6: arrange the "ticks" in the Bit boxes to suit your preference Step 7: Press the blue tick at the bottom of the screen to confirm your changes

Thanks in Advance, This is a superb forum!
