That's the driver assist (lane and cruise) I think I noticed the bobbles bouncing when changing the view, which it doesn't do on default
So can't get into infotainment module do to needing a security code (20103 didn't work, it accepted it but if you try to go into long coding then you get a red box with "something went wrong" or if you go into adaptions you get the red box when trying to get into any of them) so presume it's a code generated of the serial number like needed to activate VIM
Bit more playing and was able to get into module 5F, had to clear the app data on the android, so entered 20103 and went into long coding, byte 18 set to 0-10 they change the boot up logo, and yes I had to reboot the unit every single time (press and hold the on/off for 10 seconds
0 welcome to Volkswagen 1 twin drive 2 gtd 3 gti (this actually changes all the blue lines to red) 4 bluemotion 5 egolf 6 R 7 R 8 alltrack 9 gte 10 elegance
also messed about with skins on byte 17, nothing seemed to change tho, but was getting bored with resetting the unit
Depends what apps your talking about, there are a couple of codings I've seen that need tweaking to work on the 7.5 and there are some hardware changes that will make sure the tweaks don't work at all, all depends on how quick obd11 writer implement then, TBH it would be better to use coding rather than apps on newer untested cars, that way you can see if it works and if not why it doesn't Would be nice if they had a bit where you could write your own apps, then they could look into them then add them to their own app list
vwcalifornia2020: ok so odb11 does not work with 2020 models! if I had read this before I wouldn't have bought it !! not cool ! it is not specified on the website that it is until 2019 !! it is noted from 2016 -...

testeronline: just to be clear VAG have introduced new security on MQB Platform motors that all devices will need to deal with (VCDS, OBD11, caristaapp, VCP Etc) but they are all building the interface

testeronline: as VAG have been slow in passing info on to these tools. However I agree OBD11 Should be clear in what cars can fully use Coding and Which cars cant.

dvs7biz: Wolf, check the Variable Valve Timing Control (N205) Valve. I had similar problem and replaced cam position sensor and crankshaft position sensor with no positive results. After breaking down engine it was the Variable Valve Timing Control (N205) Valve.

Idkwhattoputhere: Can anyone point me in the right direction for instructions on how to CHANGE (not reset) the value or mileage at which the dashboard notification comes on for Inspection being due?? I know how to reset and change both the service and inspection intervals
Aug 9, 2020 3:24:22 GMT
Idkwhattoputhere: Ive already reset both, and changed the max values from a 10k interval to a 5k interval. But now my dash, not MMI, is giving me a notification whenever I start or stop my car. How do I completely disable that notification or change it to come on at 500 mi
