Is it possible to activate Traffic assist on Golf 7.5R 2018 with Line assist, Light assist and ACC?
It doesn't have Driver Assistance package plus
It has Radio discover pro
Is it possible also to activate traffic sign recognition?

If you mean traffic jam assist then the only ways to do that is to pay your dealer or get someone who knows what their doing with VCP
As for sign recognition there’s plenty of guides on how to do that

Thank you!
So you think there is all the hardware needed in the car to code traffic jam assist?

Been there, done that.
For TJA: You need an MRRevo ACC (the only ACC in the 7.5), an 3Q0-Camera (the only camera used for DLA, LaneAssist and TSR) and an EPB (don't know about RoW and NAR Golfs here, EU Golfs have it since ages).
If these are having supported firmware on them, you only need some parameters uploaded by VCP (currently the only way) and you are through. If not, you have to update the firmware (also possible with VCP).

DSG ist not mandatory, but as ACC bugs you to take over below 30km/h with manual, TJA does not take its full potential. EA will brake you down to idle speed but not full stop.
I also thought that from factory, DSG is a must have (otherwise the driving assistance plus is not showing up), but in the current German configurator you can click a manual Touran with that package. Someone already got that configuration, so it is not an error on the homepage.

With manual gear not start because you must put the first march. And not break full stop.
But it is very interesting to get lane assist below 65 km/h.

Yep. In a Audi Q5, which is MLB, so almost everything is different

Knock yourself out trying, this has been going around for years fella, and yet still no TJA for golf, but carry on
