Hello, I'd like to know how to enable the Proactive Occupant Protection feature.
I looked in some forums and they say it can be activated via VCDS or OBD11 but nobody tell how to do that.
Any ideas?

You can enable this probably. But will it work? The reversible seat belt tighteners (which are the most important thing) are extra hardware (and coded in the door modules). I also think that solely enabling this in the infotainment is not the entire deal - there will be some undocumented coding in the ABS and probably in the doors and roof to enable closing. Maybe even the gateway is in between this... I think nobody every done that retrofit

The abs module is the same coding like a GTD facelift with proactive protection from stock. No difference with mine.
In module 42 and 52 it change Reversible seat belt tightener to INSTALLED. Sorry for my bad memory.
maybe VW take this operative like the alarm of the car.... I don’t know...

The reversible seatbelt tighteners feature extra motors to pull the belt towards the passenger. This motor is not included in pyro-only tighteners.
I heard that during a driver-safety course with extreme slippery roads one can trigger proactive protection. Maybe somebody with that coding can try it out?
