I have e-throne 2019 from the USA.
The machine has two esim modules, the first in the MMI and the second in the gateway.
The CubicTelecom mobile operator does not work in my country. I want to find a way to replace the data in e-sim with another operator. looking for those who know how to do it

in MMI I can change the operator by replacing esim with a regular SIM, but in the gateway, no Do you know the solution?

unfortunately I haven’t succeeded yet
I have a problem with the SOS function because of this. The machine regularly generates an SOS module error, since the machine cannot communicate via esim with the telecom operator in test mode. And displays an error warning

I got the same on my E-tron from US to EU. Since i dont have internet the connection is lost, and you get a warning. I got the car mechanic to remove the message. They used only 30 minutes. I still get the error saying "no internet connection" some times when using MyCar on cable.

Also having the same two problems: 1) almost continuous SOS error (clearning telematics module faults helps for few days) 2) no connectivity to the car via app
Does changing the port to EU version and inserting SIM change either of these? I have found the part and know how to configure it in obd11, just not sure if it helps anything.

if you insert physical sim card, does the app work/let you then connect to the car via app? DO you have an insert for regular SIM in the car? I thought US e-tron's only had eSIM. What are the difference between the MMI SIM and the one in the Gateway? I dont know what they did to remove the error, but you should check with Audi in your country, or ask them to get an answer from Audi Germany. It should be possible with coding without having internet in the car. I still dont have internet in my car, and never seen the error after the fix.

Same place as you. An EU conversion of the MMI will actually remove the SOS warnings and take care of a lot of things. But I’d really like to get the eSIM working or find a workaround. I had a SIM slot added to my car, but it’s only 2G and still won’t allow me to use the app.
Would love to hear if you’ve found any solutions.
