Update for Software Version 0.9.1.0 Bit of information firstly about the History Function. This gives you access to the following types of change that you can make. Coding, Long coding, Adaptions, Basic Settings, Coding 11, Diagnostic session, App as well as all the Backups you have done. This data is not stored on your phone but on OBD11 Servers so to be able to see it you must be connected to the Internet via WIFI or Mobile Data. If you are not connected you will get error Check network connection and try again. You can however email these changes so you have an offline record (which many of us keep in excel spreadsheets). One point of note on Email in the Settings screen at the bottom there is a facility for you to enter an email address. If this is populated whenever you send an email of this data it will be pre populated with that email address. Please note the History is stored against the VIN Number and your account so if somebody else added in your vin number they will only see the standard default picture and no history or personal details of your car...
| As you can see we now have 3 new options Filter (By default you get all items but by using the Filter Screen (see below) you can edit what you see in the bottom half of the screen. For example if you chose to only look at Gateway coding the screen will only show changes that fit that Criteria.
Further You can also Filter by Time, this is currently 1 Day, 7 Days, 30 Days or All By using this filter you obviously only see the changes you have requested that fit in that time period.
All the filter has done at this stage is shown you the changes you have made on your Phone or Tablet screen. If you want to get a copy of the items then use the Email Function. This will create a text file with your selection Criteria.
Last change on this screen is the Question Mark which will take you to the Forum for your specific car.
|
| Screen you will be presented with when doing any filtering. Top of screen shows you Time which by default is set to ALL but as above can be changed to one of 3 different settings.
Below is Type what the screen does not show you is final line is Backup, this will then show you all the backup files you have taken and each time you create a new backup you have to give it a name (I use Control Unit followed by date to keep it simple and easy).
You can select all or One or Multiple Types and the screen will then only display this selection. Each time you leave the History screen it goes back to default view.
At the bottom of the Screen is the Clear All (which will untick everything and if you press again will tick everything. Ok will save your changes for this session, cancel will take you back to where you were.

Final part of the history is the Email output, you will get an email with a text attachment called History.txt (see picture below of what this looks like. The Subject will be your VIN number and the Car Name you have setup in the application. Email Body of Text

The only item I would mention here is if you make a change by App all that the log will show is you have made a change and the app name, it will not give you the details of change to underlying elements. Last point the History can be found in the MyCar menu and also in each of the individual Control Unit screens.
