Hi also I have mounted the rear view camera on A4 b9 and it does not work. I have neither front nor rear pdc. Done the encoding but it doesn't appear on the screen Do you know how this can be done? Thank you

Hoping this is not a common problem. I'll be adding an aftermarket camera and head unit, and do not want to run into any unexpected surprises.

I do have rear sensors, but would go with an aftermarket camera and head unit with GPS.

Have replaced my OEM trunk latch with an OEM unit including camera - 3V0 827 566 M for Avant recommended here. Followed the instructions found on the manufacturer’s site here with no luck. My MMI is working correctly, meaning the CAN is communicating via the provided switch (connects the camera’s CAN wires with MMI CAN wires), but the 6C populates as black during OBD11 scans. I have verified that the camera receives power, via the fuse box in the back left side of the trunk (fuse slot stated for backup camera). CAN & video signal connected via the back of the MMI. Have coded the VPS databus as Terminal 15 & as Infotainment, without luck. Fault code on 5F: "Wire for video signal, open circuit" & "Function limitation due to missing message - intermittent" I am obviously doing something wrong - any suggestions?

Thanks Claudiugabriel88, I did follow the suggestions from that blog, including the actual camera - purchased the suggested Avant camera linked in his site.
I have connected to the same fuse as shown on the video, but did not connect the CAN wires under the seat - connected directly to the MMI using the provided loop. MMI works, meaning the CAN +/- wires are as should be, I believe. The camera has power, detected at the fuse and connection.
At a loss here.

Finally got the RVC (6C) working! I did indeed have to connect to the Gateway (J533) under the back seat. Once that was done, I just had to edit long coding on the 6C for rear sensors only, and everything worked.

You have to connect to the CAN under the back seat. Remove the seat and you'll see the plug.

Hey friends,
I have installed an aftermarket reverse camera and it works almost fine. I don't have parking sensors so also not the button for that, but when i start my car and immediately switch in to reverse I see the camera picture and the lines are reacting to my steering, but after 3 sec I see the mmi media screen. When I try later to switch in reverse nothing happens on the screen. I have an A4 B9 2017
Is there somebody who can help me?
Hope to hear from you!

Have you managed to code it? I also don't have front or rear parking sensors.

I coded the 6C by following the instructions in the above referenced tutorial. Copy/paste below:
Byte 04 – Bit 0 blocked to 1 = AHK Byte 04 – Bit 1 to 1 = Parking aid front + rear installed Byte 04 – Bit 1 to 0 = Rear parking aid installed Byte 04 – Bit 2 to 1 = Parking Assist installed Byte 07 – Bit 0 to 1 = Guides across Byte 07 – Bit 1 to 1 = Guides parallel Byte 07 – Bit 2 on 1 = Guides Trailer Byte 07 – Bit 3 on 1 = Guides cross Byte 07 – Bit 4 on 1 = Guides park steering assist installed

Word of advice, be careful when running the cables from the trunk into the car. The camera signal in my Avant was intermittent; I have finally discovered that the optic cable was kinked.
I've tried repositioning the cables, but will likely need to replace the optic cable.
Hint: if your camera only works with the trunk open - wires straight - you may have the same issue.
