Hi, I was just looking on youtube to learn new stuff from others that are using this tool, and sudenly I’ve seen that in his “garage” list it was listed a car that is not making part of VW group cars. Is it a error or this tool can work with other cars to?

Yes the app will let you connect to non vag cars but it only supports Basic OBD2 scanning / fault clearing plus some live data / charts but no codings.
it does not work on porche or honda as there obd2 plugs are wired differently

This is an old tread, but I'll try. I've tried to connect to an Volvo, without success. With the dongle in place and connecting to it, I had to choose a car. It only lets me choose from a list of VAG brands. How can I get around that, for reading trouble codes on a non VAG brand?
