I wanted to change rear brakes, after understanding that i need to retract parking brake i added parking brake(53) function in the app after adding it successfully it says the following... Control unit not responding. Check ignition and try again. Now i have tried ignition off, On, Start nothing seems to work. Need help ASAP OBDeleven please respond Car: Skoda Kodiaq 1.4 TSI 4X4 Model:2017 Thanks in advance. Attachments:

For your info this is not an obd11 official support page, its a user community forum provided by OBD11 so afraid its very rare you get feedback from them. Secondly they do not work at the weekend (normally) so using the in app help function you wont get a response till Monday I am afraid. This is not my car but when you say you added parking brake (control unit 53) i presume you did not have it shown originally. The current color is black which means either you dont have that control unit or its not reachable
I am guessing you have electronic parking break in your car and my guess is that the info for this is in control unit 03 but as I dont know your car may be wrong.
Sorry i cant help more.

Hello again,
Thank you for the information and easy guidance my friend.
Control unit 53 wasn't showing originally as you presumed, also you were right about control unit 03 So i did the following steps...
1.brakes(control unit 03) 2.basic settings 3.start lining change mode 4.end lining change mode (after changing brake pads)
I've done my work through it and worked just fine.
