Hi Guys,
Pretty much in subject, did a 9.2"Mib 2.5 upgrade. Adapted the existing longcode, but still missing the Hybrid-Electric-BatteryHold-GTE choices from menu. Some say this is a Gateway issue?
Any ideas?,

Well I’m not sure it’s a gateway issue, as your original gateway would be already programmed to accept electric, wouldn’t it? Just looks around the programming in 5f in your old backup and match it to your programming in your new 5f

The actual Gateway(software?) is compatible with Mib1. Not with Mib2.5 as i understand.

Ordered a facelift 3q0907530 Gateway from a Passat GTE. Will bench it, and than report back.

Finally found some time to install this GW. Beside a CP error i got the hybrid menu back. Problem solved!

Not solved.
When i register the new Gateway to my car (with Odis) all hybrid menu's are gone....
So i'm lost at this moment.

That won't work just by installing a new gateway because you need to modify your fpa datasets. It's not a task for the average joe to do.

Fixed, used a 3q0907530 gateway from a facelift Golf GTE, removed Component Protection, put back existing SWaP and did some online coding. Finally it works!!
