The second 2 means USA, if you want German functionality use 23008, or for the rest of the world, use 23108.

Hello I am new here and a beginner with my first 2006 Audi a4 2.0t Quattro. I am wondering what steps I need to do so I can disable the passenger seatbelt warning tone, if possible. Thank for help

Hi mrrapp916, Take a look under Control Units for Dashboard. Read the current value. The second to last digit from the right controls the seatbelt warning. These are your options: 0 = No seatbelt warning 1 = Seatbelt warning Europe 2 = Seatbelt warning USA and Canada (NAR old) 3 = Seatbelt warning USA and Canada (NAR new) 4 = Seatbelt warning Europe (including passenger) 5 = Seatbelt warning USA and Canada old (including passenger) 6 = Seatbelt warning USA and Canada NAR new (including passenger)
I think the European warning goes on forever whereas the North American style is to just a reminder that shuts off after a few seconds.
I have no idea what NAR is. Let us know how you get on.

Audi A4 b7 8ec Does anyone know how I can activate an audible signal for not wearing a seat belt ... It's very strange to me, because the light comes on after a contact is made and then goes out after about 3-4 seconds. Whether I put on the seat belt, it goes out .. In my opinion this is not normal .. I can code not to light the light, but I want it to work as I guess it should be .. At the moment I have 00130...

The only thing I can think of is to try the European setting. There must be a different behaviour as Audi put in seperate values for Europe. I remember a Volvo in the UK would beep all the time the seatbelt wasn't connected, so I'm thinking the rules are stricter there than in North America.

What do you think the numbers should be to have a buzzer sound?

Try 00140 This will switch the behaviour to European for both driver and passenger.
