Lane assist activation fail

Hello everyone.

​​​​​​​I have a 2020 Audi Q5 Premium Plus (built Oct 2019) and trying to install the Lane Assist Step 1 via the app on iOS 14.4.1. OBD11 firmware updated to latest as of March 23, 2021.
I get an error message: Check ignition. Try Again.

My ignition is on, hood is open, doors closed. Tried multiple times but no success. Any recommendations to get this resolved? I’ve checked the forums on various sites and there doesn't seem to be any solutions to this but hoping someone figured out.

I also activated the time for opening the rear lid with remote and changed to 1 second. I pressed the trunk release on the remote for 1 second and nothing happens. Am I misunderstanding the function of what this actually does? My impression was that instead of double clicking to open the trunk, I just press for 1 sec and it opens.

I have a 2020 Q5 Progressiv (North American model), it took me twice to get the LAA system working. It gives you the warning first then on the second try it will reboot everything. Make sure your vehicle’s power is on (not running), I had all other accessories off (lights off, seat warmers off, any 12V plugs unplugged).

whiskey- I have 2019 Q5 progressive version, how do I know H/W on the car would support Lane Assist app ? I do have camera front mirror for auto headlight.

Is there any way to deactivate the lane assist on MMI Menu?
I've to spend 100 credit each time to activate and deactivate it.

Hi, I am new to this forum and I just recently purchased OBDeleven Next Gen. I have 2018 Audi Q5 progressice+S-Line and when I scan my car, it says that the lane assists not supported. Strange that when I check my dash screen , there was a lane assists Icon. Please kindly advise if this is something can be activated in my car. Thanks
