Hi,
I recently retrofitted the front footwell lights on my 2019 Seat Alhambra and I used the corresponding OBDEleven APP to enable this feature.
While enabling it, I was asked if the installation was for Bulb or LED, for which I selected LED, as this matches the original VW LEDs that I sourced (the car came with all interior lights of LED type from factory).
Then the footwell lights were on once the door is open as expected.
Once this was coded, I noticed that I could not find the brightness control of these lights in the illumination menu as described in the car's manual.
As I also have the PRO license, I then checked that the coding done to the BCM module by this OBD11 APP was apparently not including such feature. (Byte 12, Bit 5 needs to be activated to enable this kind of control). So, I did this manually and the menu was now displayed.
However, I also noticed that the APP not only enabled the Byte 20, Bit 0 (as expected), but it also enabled Byte 25, bit 3.
Initially I though that this may be related with the LED selection that I did when I enabled the feature, as this would make some sense. However, after googling such specific bit (BCM-09, Byte 25, bit 3), I'm unable to find any mentioning of it and its corresponding function just to be sure that this bit is meant to be set for my use case.
I fear that, worse case, the OBDEleven APP may not be compatible with the BCMPQ35 module that I have in my car, due to the fact that it is a dated control unit despite the recent car manufacturing year.
Therefore, I'm trying to understand whether I should revert what the APP did by trying to know the meaning of that bit (Byte 25, bit 3).
For your reference, here is the APP coding extracted from the logs.

Can someone out there help me to confirm the meaning of BCM-09, Byte 25, bit 3 ?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
