It's so insistent and basically unimportant.

Tim: Hi.
Just guessing, but you could disable the software switch that tells the central electric module that there is a washer fluid level-sensor fitted to the car.
If you want to try - go to the central electrics module (@ address hex09) - go to adaptation - search for "HW_Verbau" -select Insufficient washer fluid and change to not installed
If you are asked for a security code - use 31347

Thanks!
However, I'd actually still like to see the warning, only without the insistent bong. Is that possible?

hmm........ I'm almost certain that how the warning is managed (once initiated) is determined by the firmware in the relevant control module. I would be very surprised if it is possible to break the link between the visual and the audio aspect of the warning- and even if it was possible, I doubt that OBD11 could be used to make the change, alas.
But someone else here may have a different view - maybe

Hi,
I am new to all this, just purchased OBD11 and trying to deactivate windshield washer sensor. I did follow your instruction and not sure how to save that change, because I go back and it's not changed. Do I have to buy credits or something else? Thanks in advance for your help..

bosusa : Hi and welcome to the mysterious black-arts of module coding!! In truth, I hadn't personally tried my tweak when I wrote my post (that's why I used the opening words "Just guessing") - but in my defense, I considered the modification to be a reasonable suggestion because of the channel name.
However, galvanized into action by the proposition that I might have told porkies (it's important to me that I don't lie to the forum community) - I just implemented this tweak on my handy-dandy "virtual mk7" (my test-bench - see below) and I had no trouble repeatedly flipping the software-switch for the Insufficient washer fluid ON and OFF with ease!
Therefore, while accepting the mantra that anything is possible and with absolutely no offense intended - I'm reasonably confident that the coding change can be made. That said, because my test-bench doesn't have the physical equipment for the washer fluid - I can't vouch that my tweak actually disables the alarm. But I'm reasonably confident that this happens.
So, why didn't my tweak work for you? Hmmmm........ again I'm guessing by the last 3 x letters in your forum-name that this is a "Yankee" car - meaning a North America Region (NAR) model. My test-bench has Rest-of-world modules, which are different to the NAR kind. Maybe this nuance explains your observation - perhaps?
Finally, I have to ask - when you purchased your OBD11 account - did you also opt for the PRO subscription because this "license" is needed to make coding changes?
