Hi, I have a 2010 Q5 3.2L. It threw a bunch of codes after hard acceleration a few days ago.
I have an Autofix code reader that I bought a few years ago to release EPB, and never bothered checking its other function in details at the time because the Q ran just fine then.
Now, when Autofix read the codes, it gave me a message "code definition is not available" for all four codes.
The codes were:
1. 001F0C 2. 0019A9 3. 0018CE 4. 002857
I was able to successfully clear the codes, until next hard acceleration.
Local Autozone read one code as misfire cyl. #1, but I can't go there every time I need codes read.
Before buying OBDEleven, I need to know if it would display the codes WITH definitions like "cyl.#1 misfire", "camshaft position sensor not responding", etc.
My phone is Samsung Galaxy 7.
I am not interested in long coding or/and modifications to existing settings, I just need the Q to run well.
Thanks

You can type the error codes manually into the OBDeleven app and it will look them up for you however the error codes need to be 5 or 7 characters in length. Yours look to be 6 characters, so perhaps your reader is not reading them correctly?
Cheers, DoC
