Hi all,
I retrofitted the headlights on my GTI 2013 using AliExpress LED mk7.5 ones. All working except for the high beam. It only stays on for 1 sec and after that I get a dashboard error "check high beam bulbs". If I use high beam for less than 1 sec there is no dashboard error. Car had Xenons originally. Any help here is highly valued

gcs : Hmm....... I'm really not sure about your expectations in authoring your post above!! There are 13 x words in your post describing a problem that could have a gazillion different causes and for a retrofit project that could use a lots of different non-OEM headlight fittings from Allixpress on a car that could be built dozens of different ways from the factory. I'm at a complete loss to understand how any forum member could be expected to respond in an informed manner since there is complete dearth of specific information about this problem! Personally, I'm not at all surprised that there is " still no response" given the pithy effort that has been put-into describing the backstory for the cars in this thread! Don
