Guys my understanding is that VAG have changed some of the setup and the old apps don't work (see link below) however using OBD11 you can still use the Adaptions to make changes and i have seen some new apps for MY17 Cars. However as the post below tells you some of the names have changed. obdeleven.proboards.com/post/6921Always backup before making changes. |

I tried to enable an adaptation from unit F5 Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2 but it did not work menu_display_SportHMI_over_threshold_high and menu_display_SportHM The adaptation takes the changes is turned on but it does not work I attach a photo od adaptions ![]() This feature is SWaPped, so this is not to be coded. You would need an activation key linked to your VIN from VW to get that working. You won't get that key, as VW does not sell this explictly in the aftermarket. There have been plenty of approaches on this, I have not seen anyone with luck from coding alone. For examaple, I have that Sports HMI activated from factory, but in the coding its disabled afair. |

DAVEEU, It does work on new cars.
The issue is that VAG have changed some of the modules and all the software companies (including vcds according to some posts i have seen) are having to do some work to adapt to these changes.
If you go through the mk7 threads you will see people are giving coding for MY2017 cars so the app DOES WORK.
Issue is that not all the old coding&adaptions work (because VAG have changed various things) so you can't use all the old code but instead require some new ones which do work.
I also know that developers have done some apps for the new cars as well but obviously it takes some time to get them all done along with all the other changes that are wanted by user base.
Hope that helps explain current situation from a user perspective.

If it wassn't difficult enough these changes on the 2017 MKII ( or facelift) doesn't make it easier .
I would just like to not purshase something that is barely working , allready have a generic OBDII adapter in bleutooth and Wifi version , both useless for the OBDeleven software ...

Got my Golf R mk 7.5 3 weeks ago and about 5/20 apps works with it. Nothing else. Doesnt even have the exhaust flap app in it..
Hope OBDeleven will figure it out soon.
Have an email saying that all apps for the new Golf R facelift is tested and works. Though I highly doubt that. 5/20 apps works, thats all..
Anyone else having trouble with the golf r facelift version, holla back! Guess im not the only one.

Ceder saw you message in shoutbox, As described above VW have changed stuff and some of the old mods work and some dont.
I have started a list on the Leon section under the N model with know old coding that still works and the new coding for new models only.
If you have a specific app that does not work then as you say please let support know and they can look into it but please make sure you tell them model and your location as US Cars are different to ROW.
With regards to apps I don't work for / with have any relationship with OBD11 but I can tell you they are working on device firmware update to implement TP 1.6 protocol and fix TBA basic settings issue which will help a lot of people so new apps will come along over time but we all have to be patient in the mean time the app still works and you can make changes just have to do them via coding rather than using an app.

Most of apps updated, please test it and report if any of it still do not work. To update apps list go to apps > go back to my car > go to apps again

I changed "DRL settings in head unit" from OFF to ON, but "Daytime running Lights" menu was not displayed.
