I was looking at getting one of my customers a new dongle and noticed this new inflation feature on OBD11 Site
To buy the dongle on its own from the product page with currency set to GBP is £49.95
From Computer
| From Phone
| Row 2 co

|
Select the Add to Cart button and it now turns into £50-17, what is the central bank going to do about inflation to stop this
Now if you are a UK Resident this is a European Union Export so the VAT should be removed when you enter your full address details
But in the test run I did it removed the Tax of 8.70 but increased the price by 8.70
but still front page and invoice have different values.
Just to add to the fun go to OBD11 Amazon Page and you cant buy the Next Gen dongle but the prices are higher than obd11 site (Pro on OBD11 is £83.62 on Amazon £119.99) but this may be because these prices are set by uk reseller rather than OBD11

Well they fixed the inflation problem so all prices are the same now - thank you Update - No they have not fixed it, it worked yesterday but again today its showing different values on front screen vs product screen when you change currency.
there V.A.T Fix is simply to hide taxes so if you are exporting to non eu country looks like you pay 20% more but happy to be proved wrong Updated to show the taxes again but still not reducing the price when delivery is outside of EU.
