Hello! I have a Golf 7 2014. I recently changed the BCM module because first one fried due some battery low voltage problem. Have done the component protection part, coding and adaptions from the first one. One issue I have encountered. My subsystems: "Sensor, DWA" , "Sirene, DWA" are not in the subsystems menu anymore, also the chirp gong from lock/unlock gone. Button from driver pillar is not working anymore.
If I take the lin wire out from the bcm connector, fault will occur "U10F300 - Sirens / alarm horn for anti-theft warning system No communication". Also if I lock myself inside, the alarm will trigger and the chirp will sound.
Both BCM have the same hardware number and the alarm system was built-in, no retrofiting anything. Does anyone have a clue what should I try next? I know is not such a big deal, but I miss that chirp from lock/unlocking the car. Thanks!

Ilzul: Not sure what you mean by "first one fried due some battery low voltage problem". It's not usual to "fry" the BCM simply because the battery has low voltage (if this was normal, there would be lots of "fried" BCMs). Please explain As to you problem - I'm also not sure what you mean by "both BCM have the same hardware number and the alarm system was built-in. BCM's don't have any features "built-in" - they are programmed to operate features after installation by setting long-code string values and adaptation channel values.
Simply because the new BCM has the same hardware number as the old module - doesn't mean that the long-code/adaptation channels are set-up the same.
And as a totally separate matter - the same hardware number certainly doesn't mean that the 2 x BCMs have the same software number (which refers to the firmware version number, that has been factory installed in the module)!!
So - how were these issues (i.e. long-code/adaptation channel database & software number) managed as part of the retrofit process?

I am pretty sure that the old bcm was damaged due the battery. On the other hand, same problem is happening to the ops/pdc modules on older cars (like golf 6/passat b6/7, etc), just for an example. I am sure about the battery because the car doesn't have any major retrofitted parts. Changed only the Radio to an aftermarket, footwell retrofit and changed the rear headlamps from halogen to 7.5 led lamps. Simply in that day the car has moved 20km, parked and after 10 minutes when i tried to start the car, bcm was gone.
About that "built-in" I was meaning that the car had the alarm system and it wasn't a retrofit. It was Oem-fit or how it's called...
I know that the codings differs from one car to another or from one module to another. Codings and adaptation channels are the same now because I have recoded everything from old one to the new one. I was saying that the both module have same part number, this one: 5Q0937084AC
Anyway, what I have discovered today, is that the radio doesn't let me tick the box with "acoustic confirmation" from the opening/close menu.

hmm........ sounds a tad odd - but it doesn't matter for your issue
If the new BCM has a long-code string, please post here. And also post the channels and values with the parent name "Anti-theft device" in the new BCM

If the new BCM has a long-code string, please post here. Long coding string: 00 00 08 42 C2 41 02 FB 0B A4 40 80 B1 04 43 08 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 That's all I have on "Anti-theft device" channel, tried different combination, option on HMI doesn't want to tick... Also, here is a full backup of bcm unit: - see attachment below, I don't know to add text with "see more", since the text is really long... Attachments:OBDeleven_Log 1.txt (66.45 KB)

Try this: Acknowledgement signals - Akustische Rueckmeldung Signalhorn > not active

Sorry for late answer. Did set it to "not active" and it is still not working. I will check the three plugs from bcm again and maybe with another "beeper" module, if I find its location .
