Hi there, I've completed the now-popular MIB2 retrofit into my 2015 NAR S3, and unfortunately have some nagging issues. Hoping they can be resolved via coding and may help others who face same issues going forward. My car is equipped with ADS and PDC F+R from factory, as part of the retrofit I fitted new MMI controls, USB ports, facelift steering wheel. MIB firmware was updated to latest. Issues as follows: 1. My MMI Audi Drive Select is unavailable in MMI. Button on dash works fine as before. These are my relevant adaptation values: Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-charisma_0x17,activated Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-charisma_0x17_msg_bus,not activated Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_charisma,activated Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_charisma_after_disclaimer,not activated Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_charisma_clamp_15_off,not activated Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_charisma_over_threshold_high,activated Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_charisma_standstill,not activated  2. PDC display doesn't show distance to sensors. Right part of PDC/reverse screen stays static with the image below. Beeping works correctly/as before (car is equipped with PDC F+R from factory). (Aside: the pre-FL equivalent display had the camera full-screen, then transparent PDC overlaid on top of that, having the full screen camera was much nicer than this, downgrade imo). hmm....... more information needed!! Donor vehicle was from an A3 - so how was Component Protection managed with the retrofit and in particular, were the FECs from your old MIB copied into your new MIB (because Drive mode is SWAP and it needs a VIN based license to work - which would have been registered in your old MIB)?
Also, did you make a back-up of the old and new MIBs (i.e. hex5F modules) and if so, have you compared the old/new long-code strings and the values in the adaptation channel data-bases for the two units?

yakev724 : hmm....... You have only made 8 x posts - so you may not be aware how this forum help stuff works. It goes like this: - you start by posting up a question together with some background information.
- your fellow forum colleagues read your post and if they want to help, but need more information - they ask for the missing data.
- if you want to accept their help, you respond by providing the requested information, or if you can't - then you explain why the matter can not be addressed

Now, it may be that your lack of response to the matters in my request was because you didn't use the official Audi process for managing CP error removal. If so - I really am not interested in making value judgements - I ask this question for one reason only and that reason is to understand the technical procedure that was used!!
The answer to my question above is important to how we proceed - please address my request

Not at all - I had a VW-authorized service shop in the UK do the coding (remove CP + activate the relevant FEC/SWAP codes). The same shop let me know that the ADS SWAP code lives in the gateway so assuming they are correct this should be an adaptation/long coding issue hopefully.
I just haven't had the chance to pull my MIB1 unit out of storage, swap over + generate an admap (oversight on my end for not doing this before the retrofit!) to compare. Will add ASAP and hopefully can go from there.

I have Audi A3 8V face lift 2018 model, I use following code to activate DS, I do not have DS button. But the system did not work in MMI its DS no available...Any try it on the face lift MIBII High , kindly help me what I am missing?

That's a good news.
When I tried it mine giving me an error. I might be missing some thing.
If possible could you kindly share with me the record of car for module... Central electrics 09 and steering Assistance 44. I will compare it with mine.
