mirror dip function not returning to normal position

HI all,

I have an audi a3 2014 saloon/sedan model. i recently used the mirror tilt function on the app to allow my passenger mirror to tilt when reverese gear is engaged. it works great and the mirror tilts down when R is selected and then comes back up to normal position when driving off or switching off vehicle, however on a few occassions i have noticed that the mirror does not return to the original position when i drive off, the mirror will tilt more up each time i reverse and take off.
Has anyone experienced this issue when using the APP on the OBDeleven and do you have a fix for this so that my mirror returns to the correct position when i select D.
NB: the function works most times only sometimes it does not return to original resting position.
Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

If it hasn't got electric seats move forward backwards. I don't mean lumbar it doesn't have a memory as such to save the position. Mine does exactly the same.
