Checked the cornering bulbs first and replaced mid road trip when I didn't have my new obd11 yet. No dice. Finally scanned with the obdeleven. Comes up with two faults on the hex 55 headlight regulation.
Right swivel Module - mechanical malfunction fault code - C108A07 status - static
Right Swivel module position sensor - implausible signal code - C108C29 status - static
Has anyone experienced this? Will investigate more as I learn more, although I haven't come up with much in googling around.
Thanks!
edit: seems the place to start is removing the bumper and headlight units, swapping the modules and see if error persists on the left side. Then replace module I would assume....
stay tuned...(such a captive audience.)

I ended up swapping out the right headlight with a used one from eBay. Error went away and AFS is fully functional. The swap took about 90, if that. I’m super happy as this error has been bugging for about 30K miles.
