Hello everyone. The reason for the help is to deactivate THE ENGINE STALLS WITH THE CAR MOVING CONSTANTLY. I've been reading several threads about "sail mode", but this is NOT it (this is neutral gear). The car manual calls it "DYNAMIC START STOP". It is very unpleasant because of the boot delays, assuming that it will cause boot failures in the future and much more battery drain. By the way, it is NOT deactivated with the Start Stop button. Thank you very much for your help

Thanks for answering! Year 2019 (possibly built in 2018), Spain, BQ1 engine, 1.5, "Bluemotion" 130cv, DSG. As I said, they are two related, but independent functions. Whenever the engine stops, it is in "D" without gear (Sailing Mode), but not every time it is in "D" the engine stops. My wish is just to disable the engine shutdown. I think the video is explanatory enough: drive.google.com/file/d/14TxtPhjCaGyAu2jRjq-VsrqzQHlCRiVY/view?usp=sharing

Well, it's definitely been fixed. Indeed I have deactivated it by software and it no longer works both when stopped and when moving. The "sailing" mode continues to work correctly. I have used the application that the OBD App brings. Very satisfied! Thanks inacho and dv52 (Australia).

according to my information, start/stop on MK8 can no longer be deactivated so easily by coding. But there are "intermediate plugs" that save the last state of the button (active/deactivated).
