2005 Audi S4....I had to replace the ABS controller module (not the entire pump).
Error says the ABS module is not programmed.
I get the login code....and it works.
When I try doing the "coding" to add the replacement controller I get "something went wrong - try again".
I used the previous code and various combinations....same error?
here are all the error:
Steering Angel Sensor Fault 00778
Control Module incorrectly coded Fault 01044
Read DTC memory of engine CM Fault P1848
Also I use workshop Code: 12345
Any one experienced the same problem?

Hi, still having issues. note the following:
The login is accepted (in my case its 09297) The coding is accepted (in my case its 04597)
then I try to calibrate the Steering Angles (40168)
and the 'coding" for the module goes to 00000
so the coding doesn't seem to take.....
all the faults re-appear...
I did have an issue trying to add a key to the ECU where by I didn't have the login code. Is it possible that the ECU is locked because of too many failed attempts to gain access using the wrong Login Code? Would that block other coding from working?
Any suggestions welcome.
