Just starting a thread for us Leon guys about how to fix issues.
I have had a U112100 - Databus missing message error for a while now and today sat down and fixed it.
Firstly a big thank your to Don (DV52) who gave me the answer on vwvortex site.
So no issues on the car all working fine but every time i run a scan I get the following error:
17 Dash Board
System description: KOMBI
Software number: 5F0920971F
Software version: 2211
Hardware number: 5F0920971F
Hardware version: 304
ODX name: EV_DashBoardVDDMQBAB
ODX version: 008031
Long coding: 67ED01087D8C2E0001887E2B000000
Trouble codes:
U112100 - Databus missing message
static
Date: 2017-05-25 11:16:09
Mileage: 31580 km
Priority: 6
Malfunction frequency counter: 1
Unlearning counter: 211
U112100 - Databus missing message

When this was raised with don (VWVortex Thread) he gave some simple advise "Very difficult to diagnose a general fault code like the one in your post from just the brief information provided. I suggest that you go to the history file for the control module to find out what changes you made and then revert back the setting to their original values." so I followed this simple advise and now I dont have an error.
Next stage is to turn back on the stuff i turned off to find out what does not work (probably because my car does not have the required elements)
Trouble codes:
B130652 - Vehicle positioning system interface control module Not activated
In my case I was testing out various settings and under Adaption i changedVehicle positioning system interface control module to installed but this error messages is telling me that the module is not installed and you are not able to clear the trouble code until you go back to adaption and change it back again.
You also get a U112100 Error message which you can clear but will come back each time till you change settings back again.
Trouble codes:
P072600 - Engine Speed Inp.Circ. Range/Performance
Intermittent
I have read about this error on a number of Golf sites and in general the issue appears to be related to running the engine whilst doing a Scan. If you re-run with just ignition on the code will not be shown.
Trouble codes:
U101400 - Control module incorrectly coded
Intermittent
As with U112100 I had to look at changes made. I have added in a function that did not work.
So simple process is go through your changes Undo them and re run scans to find the error code has gone. With this error it is not possible to delete error code
Trouble Codes:
U112300 - Databus Error Received

Thanks to George Smooth Golf MK7 Forum
Trouble codes:
U112600 - Undefined control module No communication
Intermittent
As per U101400 I got this as i had added in a function that was not installed.
Please just add any other stuff you find to help other people here.
Other bits of information on Error codes:
Do not be surprised when tomorrow (or when you go to the workshop to ask) pass the scan again and see that the error has disappeared by itself ...
Every error has a counter ("reset counter") by which, if the error in the driving cycles indicated does not reproduce, the error is automatically deleted from the control unit.do not be surprised when tomorrow (or when you go to the workshop to ask) pass the scan again and see that the error has disappeared by itself ...
Thanks to To Spanish Forum for this
Cheers
