Just putting a place note here as i have seen a number of people who have got Audi's messed up after running a backup.
Firstly Audi Q5
Support resolution to this issue is the following
Hello,
thank you for your message. Sorry to hear that you are having issues. We are aware of this issue, we managed to replicate and investigate the issue, and it seems that the problem is with the vehicle itself. More likely with the software version of the control unit. The issue also persists with other diagnostic tools such as VCDS or even ODIS.
Here is what you need to do to fix the issue:
Follow the link below: FULL BACKUP
You will find at the end of this FAQ how to restore the long coding original value. The original coding you should put in the control unit sunroof is 608000049202 (here we just type the original long coding from the user sunroof control unit)
Once you will insert this code, save it, leave your car and lock it.
Go a bit further from your vehicle, with the key with you, until your vehicle's headlights will turn off.
Once that happens, return to your vehicle.
Press and hold down your sunroof button, until the sunroof will completely open and close.
Connect the OBDeleven to your vehicle -> open the control unit Sunroof (CA) -> basic settings -> and run basic setting “Roof roller blind, calibration”.
After these steps, it should work as before.

I have raised the issue what happens if the user is a Basic User so cant code and support confirmed if you let them know they will update your account so you can fix these issues
Secondly AUDI Q7
Backup screws up suspension coding on Audi Q7 2009-2016 model,
The issue is the same with VCDS and ODIS.
These instructions can be presented to the user, which applied a full backup function on this model particularly, and after a full backup, he has issues with the suspension.
There are certain test conditions that must be met before doing this procedure:
Transmission in the park/neutral;
Start the vehicle, keep the engine running, and do not switch off the ignition;
Doors have to stay closed, otherwise, the system is not ready;
Check the tire pressure.
Connect the OBDeleven device to your vehicle's OBD ll port while the engine is running, and connect to your vehicle via the OBDeleven application.
Open the control unit Chassis Control (34) -> security access -> enter code 31564 and apply it.
Go to Adaptations (in the same control unit 34) -> channel 01. Once you open this channel wait for about 2 minutes, while your vehicle does up and down and it will stand at a normal level, ready for calibration (do not close channel 01 while you are waiting).
You will need to measure the high from the front left (driver side) wheel center vertically to the fender (you need to know the high in millimeters). Once you get height, in channel 01 enter that height as a new value (for example 449mm is the high between the front left wheel and fender in millimeters) and press and hold the green tick to save it.
Open channel 02 (this channel is for your right-front passenger wheel).
Now you will need to measure the high from the front right (passenger side) wheel vertically to the fender (you need to know the height in millimeters). Enter that height into channel 02 as a new value (for example 449mm) and press and hold the green tick to save it.
Open channel 03 (this channel is for your left-back driver-side wheel).
Now you will need to measure the high from the rear left (driver side) wheel vertically to the fender (you need to know the height in millimeters). Enter that height into channel 03 as a new value (for example 465mm) and press and hold the green tick to save it.
Open channel 04 (this channel is for your right back passenger side wheel).
Now you will need to measure the high from the rear right (passenger side) wheel vertically to the fender (you need to know the height in millimeters). Enter that height into channel 04 as a new value (for example 465mm) and press and hold the green tick to save it.
Open channel 05 (WARNING: if you are getting an error or function not available, it means that the difference in high between each side is too big and you will need to repeat all the procedures again also make sure that your suspension is working correctly, and there are no faults about the level sensor or valves).
If you are not getting any errors, in channel 05 enter new value 1 and press and hold the green tick to save it.
After these steps, the suspension should be calibrated, you can now turn off the engine completely, turn it on again and check if you can find any faults, if there are, you need to clear them.

Again if you only have a Basic package contact support and they wlll update your account to fix this issue.
