Does anyone know how to disable the popup notice for privacy with obd eleven?

 I have disabled users in order to avoid the welcome screen getting stuck so now i do not have the option to “do not show again” as it is the guest user . |

mustafab97 : Hi. I'm not sure about the MQB-evo platform version of the A3 (like your 8Y/GY) - but for the previous model MQB platform model(8V/FF), silencing the "nag-screen" is done like this:  I've had a look in my database and according to my records, the hex5F module on MQB-evo cars has the same adaptation channel "Child" name as in my picture above. However, on the newer MMI's, the "Parent" name for the channel has changed and instead the name is like this
- function_configuration_hmi-Popup_if_GPS_services_in_use
So - maybe try navigating to the adaptation channel above on the hex5F module on this car and change the setting to not active

PS: Of course for MQB-evo cars, the security protocols will be SFD - so, the security code in my picture is NOT appropriate

On 8Y/GY it's under:
5F Multimedia
Security access 20103
Adaptations > function_configuration_hmi
All the way at the bottom you will find: "Popup_if_GPS_services_in_use"
Change it to OFF.
