Earlier this year i retrofitted my MK7,5 with a 6C RVC camera which after a few tweaks and re-coding, works totally fine for me and is pretty accurate too.
Coding it as a highline, I lose the front Parkpilot, while coding it as a Lowline I lose the camera views; the last option is the one I use.
The persistent B2010 00 [009] - - [RearView system not calibrated] error keeps bothering me a little bit though.
In one of the many fora i found a process description about how to calibrate a 6C with VCDS.
With a borrowed domino-calibration plate and my HEX-V2 I tried to follow the calibration process.
Accessing my 6C control unit appeared to be the dealbreaker.
No mather what i tried, security access to the proper chanels was rejected with a misterious 7F error.
Also with my OBD11 interface [CONTROL UNITS] -> [6C] -> [SECURITY ACCESS] -> [LOGIN CODE] no access is granted with the 6C access codes I've found so far.

After some research I found out that my 6C camera type (5Q0980556B) originated from one of 3 Audi models.
According to some other forum, calibrating this particular camera type in a Golf MK7 would also be a hassle with the official ODIS system since ODIS doesn't expect this camera type in this car.

My question is:
- Has anyone managed to calibrate a 6C using OBD11? if yes how did you do that?
- Can anyone provide me with a working access code for my camera type?
- vwjap: i see your camera type is a 5Q0980568A: could you please tell me if one of the access codes above works with your camera type?
Cheers Chris

- Camera lens must be clean.
- Vehicle needs to be positioned on a firm and level surface.
- There must be sufficient space all around the vehicle being calibrated.
- Parking brake is applied.
- Steering wheel in zero position, wheels point straight ahead.
- All doors and rear lid are closed.
- There is nobody in the vehicle.
- Vehicle is not loaded.
- Before calibration: switch on ignition.

Hi,
I’ve managed to calibrate the rear view camera using Obdeleven on a c7 using a homemade board. Took a few bits of trial and error but fully calibrated now.
It’s easier with android than iOS at present as if you go to channel 001 on the camera module it gives the instructions of what channels you need to do (channel 004 and channel 005) then setting channel 001 to 1 to trigger calibration.
