Hello im new to the OBDeleven and having trouble with my new Cupar born V1, i have got warning lights for the following, front assist, emergency assist, lane assist, proactive occupant protection system. I have contacting the dealership and they are saying they will not look at it because it will be an issue with the HV battery and i need to drive it to Shrewsbury which is 80 miles away and have them look at it 😩.
long story short…. I have purchased an OBDeleven to take a look at codes and i can not open the Active cruise control, control unit it shows in black and saying to check ignition and try again…. Everything else opens as normal.
Any ideas?? Or am i correct in thinking the control module for the ACC is fried. And my local dealership is just fobbing me off
many thanks Lee

If its black it means that its not on the network so system says its not there.
That could be fried unit or a broken connection but did you ask the first garage why they think its this case (eg is it a common problem).
Personally I would be contacting Cupra customer support and complaining that you should be given a loan car whilst they take the car all that way to get it checked out as you are going to loose a day's pay and if they cant fix it on the spot then another days pay plus all the millage.

Thank you, i will call them tomorrow once they are open, tbh i have had nothing but problems since i had it, such a shame it’s a great car apart from the obvious problems. Thank you for the reply

I am afraid the latest versions of all the MQB Evo platform (and the electric ones) have suffered problems as VAG thought it was easy to be a IT Company, now they know its not.
Saw this on the VCDS site and whilst its a bit OTT, I do think they are running before they have learnt to walk.
