Hi i am in Australia and received my obdeleven today. I have a brand new VW 2023 t-roc R, and tried my first long coding change under "13 adaptive cruise control"-> overtaking_right_prevention to OFF. and it has been stuck on "long coding writing..." for 25 minutes.
I am unsure what to do now.... btw i am on iphone 14 pro with ios 17.0.1. please help, i am too scared to turn my car off

Ok well after an hour, i closed the app, and restarted it. It reconnected fine, this time i had the bonnet open and tried to long code the same thing again. Once again it's stuck "writing"...
Is there a specific sequence i need to do these things in? does the car need to be running? do i plug the obdeleven in after the car is running and the bonnet is open? I've been modifying Subaru ECUs for about 10 years, and that lack of clear instructions/feedback while using the app is pretty disappointing.

I still can't get this to write any long codes... My car was off, I opened the bonnet, turned the car on, plugged in the obdeleven (do I need to wait for a bit before doing this?), connected, picked the long code update, swiped to save, and then it just spins forever "writing..." 😭
I bought it from the official site about 5 weeks ago, it arrived today and I bought a pro subscription today.

Does your car have SFD protection? If it does, I believe that prevents any writing/changing until it’s unlocked.

It seems that may have been the issue...
I tried long coding another way (via the community defenitions in the second tab, rather then the factory definitions) and then it popped up to enter an "security code" which was pre-filled with some numbers. And then once I submitted that I was able to write. I don't know why that dialog didn't come up earlier, or how I got it to even pop up but it seems to have solved my issues thanks 🙏
Not a very user friendly first experience though haha

@pc0907: Look at the records in History - these will tell you what changes you made. Revert the changes to "old value"

I am not sure if this is the place to be asking this but anybody that could please help me it would be very much appreciated.
I have a 2020 Jetta Gli with the Beats audio system I hated the system so I got rid of factory amp and replaced with Subs DSP and amp. Now my question is how do I get the Dyna Audio to function? It was never available to me until I added the DSP and Amp. The installer got me to turn on MOST, I did got my car back and had new EQ settings.... but they do not work or function the application is there but that's it I haver no control on the fade, EQ has to be set Manually, Dolby doesn't work no control of the subs but the option is there. Am I missing something? Do I need to go into long coding and change something other then MOST? please help

ddog : Hi It's really not possible to answer your very general question given the non-specfic nature of the information provided in your words. Meaning that we don't know the version MIB in this car and you have not provided the actual long-code string for the hex5F module (the infotainment "brains" that lives in the glove-box). This said - I suggest that you read my response to a fellow countryman HERE. Please note that the reply was for an OEM external amplifier - nevertheless, the software switch settings on the long-code string will be the same when telling the MIB to no longer use its own internal amplifier.
