Hello,
Few months ago I got a Headlight Xenon Look to my Halogen A3 2013, it works find and all functions are working as it should including DRL.
The only issue I have is with the H7 Halogen Lamp behinde the lens as its not very effiecent in dark, I was thinking of retrofit to OSRAM H7 LED.
are there any Leuchte-Sett I need to change or adapet? Also I did search for smiliar topics here but couldent find.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure that I understand you questions (in both posts)! What exactly is "Headlight Xenon Look"? And how did the retrofit actually change the original factory fitted lamps on this car?
Also, I don't understand your intention - Shirley you aren't intending to install an OSRAM H7 LED into the DRL socket on this car?
And notwithstanding the marketing hype from OSRAM about their lamps being "street-legal" (are you referring to OSRAM Night Breaker lamps?), are lamps producing a total luminous flux of 1,500 lumens (each) road legal in your country if the car doesn't have level sensors?
Does this car have level sensors fitted and what country is this?

Hello, thanks for answering Yeah the LED is legal here in germany and can be fitted in my car. The car was original Halogen Headlight, I did retrofit another Headlight which looks like the Xenon but use a single Halogen as the low and high beam. My question is that I need to replace the Low/high beam Halogen Bulb with a LED (Osram/Philips) and was asking how I change the settings so it would operate the LED instead of Halogen. This is not the DRL, its low/high beam

hmm........ OK, I'm surprised that a low-beam lamp with 1,500 lumen output doesn't require level-sensors in Germany - but it doesn't matter because there is only one person who is accountable for this car being road-legal (and it ain't me )!!
So - in general, the way that you tell the central electrics module to operate LED headlight lamps is by changing the Lasttyp channel setting in each Leuchte-set
If this car has incandescent lamps, the factory set Lasttyp channel setting will be an incandescent value. Likely for the low-beam lights, this value will be 11 - Abblendlicht and the high-beam value will possibly be 10 - allgemeine Scheinwerfer.
After the change to LED lamps, select a value that has the term "LED" in the name. Maybe for low-beam, use 5 LED Abblendlicht and for high-beam, choose 43 allgemeine LED.
However and as I have already said - these lamps are non-OEM. So you may need to experiment if my suggested values above result in error messages - because each manufacturer's lamp characteristics is different
Also, for each of the Leuchte-sets that have LED lamps, change Dimmwert AB to 127 (currently the setting will be 100). When you select an LED setting in the Lastyyp channel - the central electrics module uses a quasi-digital form of Pulse Width Modulation (I think) whereas it's an analogue form of PWM for non-LED values (again, I think)

This topic interests me, were you able to pass the MOT with those headlights? I don't know if it could happen in Spain.
