Again, I'm confused! When you say " when leave button on" - do you mean that you leave the button ON? If so, then the light is meant to remain illuminated when driving. When the button is pressed - the light stays illuminated until the button is pressed-OFF

I'm talking about the driver's side switch, the one that turns on all the lights when the door is open,. when I turn it on, the lights come on even when the door is closed, it just doesn't respond to opening the door. even while driving i turn it on and the lights come on.

If you are pressing the button on the driver-side, (not ,or ) then the cabin light should illuminate ONLY when the driver-door is open. What happens on this car if the equivalent button is pressed on the passenger side?

I'm glad you asked like that, because obviously we don't understand each other at all. so when i press the button 1. picture (we can call it "open doors light buton") the lights will turn on,, no matter if doors opend or closed!!! even while driveing the car, the light are on with this buton on. like i said from from the start. and other butons are comletle of.And why you are asking for pasanger side button?

OK, the video makes stuff much clearer!
I notice from the video that the overhead switch panel on this car does not have a switch. Golf mk7s have this switch - but not this car!! Again on a mk7, the switch turns ON/OFF the interior lights regardless of the door open/close positions! So this switch performs the light function that is shown in your video when you press the switch.
I had assumed that because you posted on this part of the forum, this car was a mk7/mk7.5 - what is the model/make/build year for this car?
Please refer to the owner's manual for this car - tell me how the manual explains that the overhead lights are switched-ON/OFF like my explanation of the switch in my furst reply?

Hi Don, I looked into manual and you are absolutely right. There isn't the classic switch. Onlzy readings lights. But in manual, there is the switch (half sun ikon) sorrz but I don't know how to post a pictures like you in text.. so now I'm totally confused.by the ways the opening closing switch seems to work.only he don't react on doors..so where could be problem? Or how can be possible? It's 2018FL GTi.my previous car was 2017FL classic 1.4 and in that car, lights normally worked. I have made some changes in GTI. Can be problem with them? I appreciate that you want to help me. Because I didn't know who can.

Yes, your car doesn't have the 2 x switches that I've highlighted below. My hunch is that this isn't a fault - I suspect that the operation of your cabin lights is designed to operate this way - but I'm guessing!!

you are right.. i have only the rear light on/off. two reading lights, and one for opend doors.. but in manuals there is instrictions like you said...

Hello.. so any idea why the lights not working while doors opend?

No!! Since there are no error messages on this car and because it's missing the 2 x switches as mentioned earlier - I can ONLY conclude that the lights are operating as factory designed!!

can I ask you for the pin description of the PCB board, I disassembled it, maybe there is a mistake, thank you a lot for your effort. by the way the part number is 5TA947105B WHI and the lights operate like in this videohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qgGoaaEDCk except for the reaction of opening the door

So i finaly know where is the problem. there is no voltage on pin 6 when is door opend or close, in the wiring diagram, pin6 is door signal. So two things,, broken wire, or no +-12 from central elektrinic module....and broken cable is imposible...

haha.....!! Alas, your words are DEFINITELY wrong!! There ain't no deities on this forum - we are ALL equal and "totally stupid". As for your findings below: So i finaly know where is the problem. there is no voltage on pin 6 when is door opend or close, in the wiring diagram, pin6 is door signal. So two things,, broken wire, or no +-12 from central elektrinic module....and broken cable is imposible... Here's a repeat of the wiring diagram that I posted earlier: For clarity if you are not aware of VW's nomenclature on their wiring diagrams:
- J519 = the central electrics module
- T73c /67 = Pin #67 on the C socket (J519 has 3 x sockets)
I'm not sure of the function of the J519 pin #67, socket C - but here's another wiring diagram that shows the same pin on cars that have an anti-theft system installed: Notice that pin #67, Socket C is wired to WX1 (same as my first wiring diagram) - but it is also connected to pin #4 on the Button module. For L118 to illuminate, the wire that's terminated on the Button pin #4 must be at 0 Volts (earth). So if you are correct, I assume that when the door is CLOSED, J519 pin #67 socket C is 0 Volts
If you are saying that the voltage on this pin mimics the OPEN/CLOSE position of the car doors, then I suggest that you grab a multi-meter and test your hypothesis on WX1 pin #6. If you do NOT measure a change in voltage as a door is OPEN/CLOSED - then it's entirely possible that wire from J519 is broken, or there is a problem with the one, or more connectors! It's unlikely that the J519 module itself is faulty since I would expect that an error message would be generated if this happened Don

when I started this thread, I had already studied something before that, I apologize, but it pissed me off that you sent me pictures of the switch, when it was in something else, exactly as I thought, so my apologies again.
And now for the problem, yes, I am an electrician, and I carefully measured everything with a multimeter, and since the voltage does not change, I just have to assume that there is no signal from the unit, which can be caused by adaptation, so I just have to find out which one..

I would have banned this user right away, when he acted like an total idiot in the first place. hmm......I entirely understand your point-of-view!!
I've been doing this stuff for a while and in that time - I've encountered (nearly) every possible human emotion behind responses. In fact, I often find the motivation for responses of greater interest than the technical/intellectual subject matter in the reply!!
And I'm a strong believer in self-interest being the greatest behavioral driver in life, in general and on forums in particular! Most folk understand this principle - so, even if they are pissed-off, they tend to subjugate their anger for the sake of progressing a possible solution to their car problem. Those that don't understand this ethic think differently - they allow their emotion to be more important than their reason for writing a post - they are definitely in the minority and therefore they are "interesting" (to me - in a perverse kind-of way)!!
Of course, then there are the rare handful of forum members that don't write posts to solve a car problem - these odd folk simply want to use the forum as a vehicle to pick a fight. I have no interest in such folk!! I don't think that OP falls into this category!!
So yes - we have allowed OP some slack. IMO, his (her?) sins have been misdemeanors which I believe can be forgiven as frustration

I am an electrician, and I carefully measured everything with a multimeter, and since the voltage does not change, I just have to assume that there is no signal from the unit, which can be caused by adaptation, so I just have to find out which one.. Arrhh.......... "an electrician"!! Good, this means that you are skilled in problem solving and that you know about electrical stuff (I wanted to be an electrician - but I took another career path in electrical theory)!!
Unfortunately, I'm not aware how pin #67, socket C is controlled by the adaptation channels in the 09 module.
However, on a mk7/mk7.5- the switches when the doors OPEN/CLOSE are monitored directly by the driver/passenger door modules. These modules then send these switch status signals to the other modules in the car as CAN based messages. One of the modules that receives these messages is the 09 module and another module is the dashboard module (17 module).
From your earlier video, it's clear that the door modules are correctly sending the status of the door switches because the door picture in the insert on the dashboard is mimicking when you OPEN/CLOSE the door. This suggests (to me) that, if the 17 module is correctly receiving the door switch CAN messages - the 09 module is also correctly receiving these messages! But why isn't this message appearing on pin #6 on the overhead light-switch?
Since you haven't previously mentioned the results of your multi-meter tests (other than generally referring to "no voltage")- it's not clear how the light-switch is behaving. When you say "no voltage" - do you mean that the voltage on pin #6 is floating, or that the voltage is actually at earth potential?
If the latter, try removing the wire on pin #6 - does this change anything? If not - with the factory wire on pin #6 removed, try temporarily running a +12V wire to pin #6 - does this change anything? If so, it suggests (to me) that somehow the factory wire on pin #6 has been shorted to earth en-route from the 09 module
