Hi, I have an Audi A3 TFSI which has a road on the cockpit showing the car on it. But one day I started the car and it just vanished. I tried toggling the button at the end of the indicator which switched lane assist off but no lane guidance in the cockpit only a little icon lights on and off. Anyone got any ideas on this especially why it vanished ?
Appreciated

Stu: Hi. I don't know the answer to your question - but maybe consider the following for the proper function of the Lane Assist system - it's taken from the user manual: - Adapt your speed and distance from the vehicles ahead to suit visibility, weather, road and traffic conditions
- Lane Assist has been developed solely for use on surfaced roads.
- Regularly clean the camera's field of view, and keep it free from snow and ice (this is the front facing camera that fitted on the front windshield)
- Do not cover the camera's field of view.
- Check the area of the windscreen that is in the camera's field of view for damage.
- Lane Assist has been developed solely for use on surfaced roads.

Hi, Thanks for that but it is clean and definitely works just not showing the lane guidance at all.

Stu: OK - I suggest that you scan the car for errors (I assume that NO coding changes were made with OBD11)

Have you tried holding the button at the end of the indicator stalk for 3 or 4 seconds? Doing that turns on/off lane assistance on my S3 (with ACC), and it also disappears from the dashboard.
Failing that, could be a fault as dv52 says.

Yeah tried that. The little icon vanishes but the lane guidance is not shown on the main cockpit with the car on the road.
