Hi everyone! Could anyone tell me what I need to activate to have the rear camera washing function via touch button on MMI Audi A3 8Y? Thank you

Hi, I have the same problem. I retrofitted the rear camera choosing the handle with the cleaning nozzle. I connected the camera nozzle to the rear wiper nozzle using a Y-pipe, so when the rear window is cleaned through wiper, the camera also gets cleaned. What doesn’t work is the activation via the MMI. If in 6C: long coding - TV rear camera cleaning -> on
- Tv camera cleaning mode 1 -> on
the menu will appear but it will not do anything. Any suggestions?

In the end, I managed to get the washing system working through MMI. I had to make also these adjustments: Central Electrict 9 -> Adaptations -> Waschen: - RVC Waschen -> Installed
- RVC Waschen HMI -> Inactive

Didn't even know this was a thing. Usually my car is squeaky clean so i'm not concerned, but with winter coming up, gotta go see if i have this installed

i thought this was only fitted to the sportback, as it is fed from the rear wiper washer tube, sedan wont have it.

i thought this was only fitted to the sportback, as it is fed from the rear wiper washer tube, sedan wont have it. Makes sense, so it's gonna still be manual cleaning for me in that case.

I also retrofitted the washer parts, but I can't get the MMI button to work. I tried the coding above but it still doesn't appear. Tried a reset, waited a day and rebooted MMI but nothing worked. I have the 360 cams, so eventually I must do something else but haven't figured it out yet. Any suggestions are welcome

I found my (stupid) mistake. The menu entry is only available when the rear camera is selected, I simply had the wrong camera mode (due to the 360 cams). Works as expected, thanks.
