Golf 8 seats on Golf 7.5

Would it be possible to install the front seats of the golf 8 on a golf 7.5?

The seats are both manual and heated

My hunch is that the answer to your question is NO (alas). A quick look at the wiring diagrams for the 2 x model cars suggest that while seat heating is controlled by the central electrics module (called J519) on a mk7/mk7.5  - on a mk8, the seat heating is connected to the Heater and air conditioning system module (called J979).  

I very much doubt that expecting J519 to successfully operate set of heating coils that were designed for control by another module would work!!
