Hi Mattias,
I'm a new member here, and soon to take delivery of a new 2018 e-Golf in Scotland.
How are you finding your new car, and what battery/charging parameters are you able to monitor with OBDeleven? Have you found anything interesting? How are the winter temperatures affecting performance?
I'm surprised there isn't more activity on here by e-Golf owners, as I would have thought there would be great interest in tracking battery health.

I'm a petrol head on a car forum so electric cars don't really appeal to me, so guessing there's a few like me on here, and electric cars are still in their infancy, so maybe that's why there's not so many of you

A bit of a minority interest at the moment, but where are all the Norwegians? I think I'm right in saying Norway has the fastest uptake of EVs of any country (possibly with the exception of China.)
I'm also interested to know whether it's possible to change or disable the start-up chime in the e-Golf. I don't know if it's unique to the e-Golf or other models play a C-F bing-bong sound on activation of the 'ignition' (possibly also the GTE.)

Car coming soon, will be March delivery for me.
I'm interested in the information about the battery and power usage more than mods. Being a new car I'm inclined to leave it alone.

Lock/Unlock Sound
[09] Central Electronics
Select - ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SIGNALS
Select ACTIVE for Akustische Rueckmeldung entriegen if you want acoustic feedback for unlock
Select YES for Akustische Rueckmeldung verriegeln if you want acoustic feedback for lock
Select ACTIVE for Menuesteuerung akustische Rueckmeldung (Acoustic lock menu)
In-car procedure:
Press the CAR button on the RHS of the infotainment screen
Select SETUP on the bottom RHS of the screen (looks like a cog)
Select Opening & closing panel
Place a tick in Acoustic confirmation box. The facility can be turned ON/OFF via this switch
Acknowledgement signals-Akustische Rueckmeldung Signalhorn
Set this channel to active and the car horn is used - not active and the alarm siren is used
(DV52 instructions)

Hello everyone! IF I put The car on charge and have the ignition on, it stops generate heat and The seatwarmer stops.
How can i change that so IF I put The car on charge, i can have The ignition on to get heat and seatwarmer. But i whant it to keep The safty feature not to be able to drive aslong as its connected

In my version the noisemaker is on by defult, but i can inactive it with a button. But everytime i start the car its on again. But i found this, could this change the button so its off by defult, ore remember last stand?

No I'm still looking for for that to,and also how to make it produce heat while charging continusly Nä jag letar efter det med, eller att den skall komma ihåg senast inställda. Har sett det på något forum någonstans men hittar det inte nu. Vill även hitta inställningen så man kan ha på värme samt rump värme när man laddar. Otroligt irreterande att så fort man stoppar in sladden så stänger den av värmen. Samma sak händer om du öppnar dörren |

Tweak for klimaanlegg: husker siste verdi og ikke hopper tilbake til 22 grader etter 20 minutter: - modul 8 (auto-HVAC) - adaptions - Cut-in behaviour - velg active OG soft reset - trykk ok Du får mest sansynlighvis en feilmelding: service not supported in active session. Trykk ok, heretter gjennomfører modul 08 en soft reset (klima går på svart i 3 sekunder). - velg active på nytt og trykk ok - dersom alt gikk greit aksepterer den din nye verdi og er det slutt med klimarot. Det tok en del testing men kan bekrefte at det fungerer på en 2016 mod. Herlig å ha klimaanlegg på 19 grader  . Jeg fikk 4 km ekstra rekkevidde på GOM med på kjøpet |
