E-Golf Coding Info Module (01)

Hi all,

I've recently retrofitted PLA 3.0 to my vehicle, everything appears to be working but I have a fault showing in the Park assist module (76, but 10 on some cars) for "databus missing message".

For coding the PLA 3.0 system I referred to the famous Spanish guide (using the PLA 3 info, not the PLA 2), I've coded Modules 03,17,44,76 however I am unable to code Module 1 (Engine/Motor).

The guide suggests you need to activate Byte 3 bit 5 which in the guide is indicated as "Park Steer assist installed".

Activating this bit is refused by the module stating "[22] function cancelled, marginal conditions have not been met"

I've had a look online and couldn't find much information for the long coding on the 01 Motor/Engine module for e-drive vehicles, my guess is the coding is significantly different but I still need to enable the function somewhere.

Are you sure the car from this scan had PLA fitted?

Only bit that's different is I have bit 3 enabled on byte 09. ACC seems to cycle when changing that bit but it doesn't change the faults I'm getting sadly.

So I eventually found the cause of my fault code, and it wasn't related to the 01 Motor unit.

My 76 PLA 3.0 module had an adaption set for eCall Mute as active, I don't believe this function exists on my vehicle and hence I was getting the fault code.
