Hello, I've recently retrofitted Active Info Display to my 2020 MK7.5, however after the coding I realized the cruise control wasn't working properly anymore. I can see both the limiter and cruise control in the driving assists menu, but when I select cruise control and hit 'OK' i get a message saying "Please turn the main switch on". But the switch button(0/1) on the wheel doesn't work. So I assume he's coded CC as if it's operated with the turn signal lever, even though my car came with the switch button on the steering wheel from factory. I checked the community descriptions in long coding for the Engine and Central Electronics control units, but couldn't find anything CC related. I also started thinking the guy didn't know what he was doing (I also got U101400 faults in both dashboard and multimedia after the retrofit), so wanted to have your opinion first

yol : Hi. The software switches that tells the car if CC is installed and what form of CC is installed are in long-code on the Engine module - Byte 05, Bit 5-6
And the switches that tell the car whether CC is activated via a button on the turn-signal stalk, or a button on the steering wheel are on the Steering Assistance module - Byte 00, Bit 4-5.
As to why this car is complaining that the 2 x modules are incorrectly coded - there is simply too little information provided to be able to comment!!

Thank you for the reply I've checked the engine module and Byte 05-bit 5 was checked, I kept it as it is and checked Byte00-bit 4 and 5 separately in the steering assistance module. When bit 4 was checked, i found out nothing changed so I unchecked it and checked bit 5. The car displayed all types of faults so went ahead and unchecked it. I'm assuming I'm going to have to make some changes in the Engine module like you said, will try checking Byte05-bit6 next time when I'm in the car. Just wanted to give an update, thanks again
