So an update for anyone with a HK system and wanting to fit the focal inside IS VW155 speakers, I was having an issue with the front parking sensors on my car, I was just told by VW service that the issue is that the HK system does a voltage test through the audio system everytime you put the ignition on, and if it does not see a specific voltage to and from the front speakers, which is were the parking sensor sound comes from it will flag a fault?!
Can the amp be coded to not do this test or the voltage it is looking for be changed ?
Any info on this will help, I have not seen anything any were for a fix as yet.

Not sure it's a voltage test or more of an impedance test. I have an aftermarket amp powering my new fronts & sub, and I have the same issue. We tried different resistors to trick the HK amp/VW OS into thinking the factory speakers/amp were still in place, with ZERO success. Even have an aftermarket amp that can preset a range of impedance on inputs...NO Success. I've been hoping for a software fix to bypass this issue as well. Someone gave me some coding to try, loudspeaker test (automatic) to change to "No", but I couldn't get into the system the last time I tried. ..not enough time to play around & open the hood etc.
