Hi, I monkeyed around with some settings and went into basic settings and messed something up. I keep getting a fault for the basic settings in central electronics. The fault code is C107E54 for a 2017 audi a4 b9. Can anyone help me clear this? I'm a total noob and any help with detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated.

According to the app C107E54 = Headlight No basic setting,
Not my make of car but have you checked your history tab, filtered on Basic Settings. (http://obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/97/history)

Hi, Just for documentation on how i fixed this on my Passat B8. STG 4B in this case. Follow the Instructions here: How to: Program Basic SettingsCheers, UPDATE: Well, the error code is gone, but I'm not sure the light aiming feature is working as it should. Honestly, I never knew or paid attention to it before, so I can't compare with how my car was before. But what I noticed is that now, everytime the car turns on, seems like the headlights are trying to force the beams to a position too far low, because I can hear the headlights doing the self test and then the sounds turns to a stuck electric engine sound. Here is my pledge for help: forum.obdeleven.com/thread/8078/headlight-startup-issue-after-coding
Thank you so much my good sir!!! You just restored my peace 😁 Like the OP, I was playing around with the headlight settings and tried to enable the Highway Lights. The coding was accepted but got reverted to "not active" immediately, which was wired by itself. Then I heard a wiring noise coming from the front of the car and then: error code in the dashboard. I was sure it was just a calibration thing, but I thought I'd had to go to the dealership to have it done. But nope! With the basic seeing recalibration I got it fixed!!! Error code cleared and not returning after headlight self test. Phew!

Old thread, but does anyone know what to do if the above suggestions don't work? I have tried to program the basic settings, but it keeps coming up with an error (in OBDElevel PRO) error (13) Function cannot be performed, mess. length or format incorrect Any help would be much appreciated, as this is driving me crazy. I'm presuming that the error is due to coding rather than a blown bulb, as it only came up after I had been playing around with long coding, and I can't seem to get rid of it, even after re-setting everything I changed.

I didn't notice that it's for xenon lights but I have LED. Please can anyone guide me to fix it? from here: I select basic settings and what next?

I have no success with Basic Settings and Acknowledge. They both seem to be successful, but the error persists.

Hello, Were you able to restore the previous settings? I have the same A6 2017, and I'm facing the same problem. I changed something in the settings, and now it's showing me error C107E54. Could you describe how to restore the settings?
