Incorrect Diagnostic Mode - Brakes - Start Lining Change Mod

2023 Audi RS3 USA + OBDEleven for iOS
Just got my OBDEleven and tried to put parking brake into service mode to replace rear brake pads. Hood open, driver's door open, ignition off, cycled parking brake on and off but not able to retract parking brake to replace pads. In the "Start lining change mode" screen status says "NOT ACTIVE" and when sliding to execute I get "Error Function cannot be performed, incorrect diagnostic mode." What am I doing wrong?

I've changed my rear brakes pads through basic settings in 03 module

Well, tried tonight with my iPad. First attempt using the EOL diagnostic setting gave the same error code but when I put it back to volkswagen diagnostic code (default), it worked just fine. Go figure.
