Hi everyone,
I'm kind of new to this forum and have a question.
I tried the 'sunroof roller blind' app in the one-click app section. It says this function is not available (or something similar). In this case my car does have a panoramic sunroof but I cannot make the change to let the sunroof move independent from the roller blind.
What the goal is, is to have the sunroof open and the roller blind closed to not have the sun on your forehead or park the car with opened roof and roller blind closed.
Is there anyone who can help me maybe with this? Help is much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Additional info: For information: my car is a Golf Variant 1.5TSI - first reg. 18-12-2019 (so I assume MY2020) and I have the Ultimate VAG OBD11 version.
EDIT 26-5
Since I got no reply I did some additional research. Took a while to figure it out but I got it sorted (I hope). For everybody looking to do the same;
Go to modules:
- 09 Central Electronics
- Subsystems
- J394 PS22.409
- Long coding
- Deactivate 'Bit 0' (opens standard at 'Byte-index 0' - if not please be aware you deactivate Byte 0 - Bit 0)
Now you are able to open the sunroof and have the roller blind closed.
Please be aware that if the roller blind is closed and you open the sunroof this will most likely have 3/4 stops until it's fully opened. There is some sort of control happening still that doesn't allow the roof to be fully opened at once (like before the change) when the roller blind is closed.
In case you have the roller blind opened and you open the roof and then close the roller blind there is no issue. From my point of view I don't label this as an issue. I wanted to be able to park the car (or drive) with the sunroof open and the blind closed. In this case a success
Hope it is helpful for somebody!
