Evening, I have a mk7 with an is38 fitted. I was getting errors with the actuator so have replace with a new one, set the voltage to 3.6 & 3.7 at different times and when trying to run first adaption of charge pressure actuator I keep getting the same message, ‘exited due to reasons of safety’.
I can’t get this to work which is so frustrating, as I’m having to use my car for work and the turbo just won’t work and I have an epc light on all the time. Does anyone know how to get this working?

I have a very similar situation. I have a 2017mk7 golf with the is12 and I’m getting the EPC light and P00A00F code. I felt mywastegate actuator arm and it seems kinda stuck, but I’m not sure. What OBDEleven feature can I use to get the voltage?

jonatj : Hi So, on a MQB platform car like your MY17 mk7.5, the "wastegate actuator" uses a module that's called G581 to measure the position of the arm. This is my very cut-down wiring diagram of G581:
As you can see it's a simple arrangement.
Its not clear why the actuator is stuck - but if G581 is involved in the problem, the voltages are easy to check with a multi-meter.
As for your specific question, go to the 01 Engine module - then select Live data and enter "Charge pressure" into the search box
