Hello, I noticed that my headlights turn on very early on AUTO mode and this is very frustrating cause even if there is much light to see without headlights on, they are activated automatically. How can I adjust the sensitivity of light sensor via ODBEleven? I found something but I'm not sure what to put on LX field.

RLS_Night_Sensitivity: p_lx_rs_day: 500 lx p_lx_rs_dawn: 200 lx
Maybe adjust these to half?

Central electronics Adaptions
Lowering it will decrease brightness

Done a little reading on lux of daylight
Sunrise/set on a clear day 400lx Sunrise/set on a cloudy day 40lx Typical overcast day midday 1000-2000lx Sunny day midday 110000lx Moonlight <1lx

While I'm sure vwjap's lux data is accurate, I think the best way to set these values will be scanning live data from the light sensor.
Put the car in the light conditions that you would like to use for the changeover and check the reading.
I've been VERY surprised by how low the light readings are from this sensor (80lx in a bright garage), but it would explain why the auto lights cut in so early.

^^^ bererac: The other confounder with lux readings is that everyone's reaction to the light number is different. When I was in the lighting industry (many years ago), the rule of thumb was that dusk was notionally 500lx. But it was a gross generalization to say that everyone saw twilight levels of light in the same way. It depends on lots of factors like age, eye health, genetic pre-dispositions (number of color rods in the eye) etc.
If car owners are going to change the threshold value, I suspect that your suggestion about personalizing the number is correct. But be aware that there is an inbuilt safety-feature to this threshold - don't leave the switch-on level too late because you need to account for the other driver's eye response (the on-coming cars) which will be different to yours!!

100%. Caution advised. To be honest I read the OPs question as being about when the auto headlights turn on (low beams), rather than when the high beam assist triggers.
Personally I wouldn't mess with HBA, but I wouldn't mind having the low beams kick in a little later. I feel like I spend most of the time with my Nav and Android Auto in night mode!

3CA8D7 or 3CA8D2 - long coding of RHLS and turn on headlights later.
