Can someone provide a guide to permanently disable the Start and Stop system? It would be nice to be able to reverse the operation of the button. I have a DSG gearbox and the car goes off every crossing.

I have a DSG gearbox and the car goes off every crossing. Go to Module 19 (Can Gateway) ·Adaption ·Go to Kanaal: Start_stop_voltage_limit ·change to 12.1V ( standaard is 7.6V) The Start-Stop will show as disabled because the energy requirement from the car is too high, which is not an error but a valid reason for SS to be disabled.

thank you. I tried and it works. I read on forums where they talk about vagcom that someone has managed to reverse the operation of the button. Now the start and stop is active at every power-up even if I had previously disabled it. after modification, the control unit remembers the position before switching off. the modification is done in the control unit 9, channel 34 adaptation. However, with obdeleven I can not find the channel 34. does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Gianni, There are different components, not all cars are equal. Channels identified by numbers were used by old models (golf 6, for instance). In italian: occhio alla fonte quando leggi genericamente di VAG....ogni modello fa storia a sé

No
(In english: unfortunately I confirm there is no way to keep start/stop active, reversing the button logic - i.e. default S/S disabled)
