Hi Guys.,
I was wondering if you are able to advise if OBDEleven will allow me to put the roof up and down using the comfort key on S3. I have seen videos for A5 Convertible but never for an A3 or S3 Cabrio? Just want to make sure before I order the dongle.

Anyone ever confirm or deny this? I am wondering the same thing helliko: Hi. I've not tried the tweak because I don't own a convertible S3 -too expensive for my pedestrian budget!! 
But, there is nothing special about the tweak instructions below to OPEN/CLOSE the roof. So, I don't see why the PRO version of OBD11 shouldn't work.
However (as I said) I can't categorically confirm the tweak - because I don't have a MQB platform build vehicle with a soft-top
- Connect OBD11 software to dongle
- Select Central electric module @ address hex09
- Select Security access and enter the magic number 31347
- Select Adaptation
- Type Verdecksteuergeraet into Search line
- Select Verdeck oeffnen via Funkfernbedienung and change setting to active
- Select Verdeck schließen via Funkfernbedienung and change setting to active
Note: only the OBD11 version software running on an Android operating system will work for this tweak at the time of writing - OBD11 software running on Apple iOS software cannot be used for this tweak (or, any other tweak)!

I can confirm this works, but you have to double click the lock and un lock button to get it to work. So push the button once, then push it again and hold it. For some odd reason you have to be closer to the car for this to work vs. comfort closing the windows. Have;t quite worked that one out yet. I'm now looking for a way to stop the windows going up once the top is all the way down. There are few. tings more lame to me that top down and windows up  |
