Hello guys, Recently I bought the OBDeleven device, the PRO version. I have a Seat Leon 2011, 1.4 TSI and I've been trying to make small changes, for example, to lock the doors after the car reaches 15 km/h speed. The problem is that after scanning the car, when I try to get into modules, for example Central Module Comfort System, I receive a message (translation) " Control units do not respond. Check the ignition and try again." and can not access those modules. This error appears on almost all modules, attaching screen capture to two of them. For this reason, the device can only be used to scan the car and see the data in real time. The applications also work, but for Seat Leon there are only a few available. I have credits, I have the necessary codes and steps to do this, but I can not use the device properly. Am I doing something wrong? If anyone can help me with a few answers, I appreciate it very much. Thank you!

Alex the things that are normally tried are as follows:
Clear App Data for OBD11
If you are having trouble connecting via Bluetooth then clear Bluetooth app
Other things that can cause an issue
1/ You must ensure your internet connection is strong
2/ You also need to double check you have your account setup as a pro one. Using main menu select Profile (bottom of the list) on on the top white line is your user name and to the right is PRO if you have pro account.
3/ make sure your car is displayed correctly eg MK2 not a MK3

Thank you for the quick reply.
I cleared both Bluetooth and OBD app data.
For the PRO account/profile, yes, that it is set as PRO and it appears next to my name on the OBD profile page.
With regard to the internet connection, I just tested the internet speed on my phone, and it's as follows: - download: 39,1 Mbps; - upload: 29,5 Mbps.
I guess that it's a fairly decent internet connection, right?
Tomorrow I will try to see if there is any change.
Anyway, thank you for help and I'll come back with some update.

No problem, and dont forget to check they are showing the correct car for your VIN, We have in the past seen cars being incorrectly linked to wrong model so stuff does not work.
Just look in your garage and under Info it will show what sort of car it thinks you have (and the standard pic should also look like a mk2

Got that!
I checked and so far all information read by OBDeleven are correct, like VIN, engine code, year, mileage, etc.
Many thanks

Hello Cupra280 and anyone who is interested in this, Sorry for the delayed response, but I was on a trip. After I did everything you said, I cleared both Bluetooth and OBD app data and I scanned the car again and found that some of the modules that could not be read before are now available and working. There are still 3 modules that do not work, I've attached pictures. Those with electronic doors are not very important for now, but the "Central module comfort system" still does not want to work. So the problem has been partially solved, and I'm still trying to fix the other issues. Thank you!

alexandrudd when you go to the main control unit screen (the one that shows all the control units you have) what color does the control unit number show.
If it is black as far as I am aware that means you dont have it, If its green then control unit is up and running all well, If its Red then its there but you have errors.

Thank you for reply.
I just checked that, and where the Central module comfort system number appears, 46, it is on a black background / circle.
Now I'm a bit confused, I thought the comfort module is the one that deals with unlocking the doors, open the windows, from the key, etc. I say this because I have, for example, the function of folding the mirrors or opening the windows from the key. If I did not have this comfort mode, it was possible to do that?
Sorry, I'm new to this.

Post you coding history. Maybe you added that unit to gateway list?

Anyway I agree with Krystian put up your history file so we can easily see if you have added this control unit (which is what it sounds like you have done) and that will explain why its a black circle.

Got that!
This is all the OBD history for my car, I hope that is OK.
The long code is to lock the doors after the car reaches 15 km/h speed.

Couple question. So when you did your history extract did you ask for all changes or did you just specify the long coding, we need all changes. Did the control units ever work. I have reached out to a guy i know who has a Mk2 and asking what control units he has. Like you when he scans the car it shows this control unit but if he goes into it then it turns black. He tells me that the later model cars (which yours is) the control unit 46 was merged into the BCM (Central Electrics 09) - thanks to jimbobcook on seatcupra.net forum. He kindly had a look at the comfort settings for me and found them under adaptions 006 Comfort operation via remote control and these are found in control unit 09 If i understand it correctly over time the MK2 settup was changed (as is the mk3) so some of the coding you have may be for older models and they wont work on your car. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry, but I did not get any answers to these questions either. Except for the moderator, "cupra280", who tried to help me, I did not get a valid answer. I hate to say this, but it looks like the device, even the PRO version, as I have, is not very useful. I did not succeeded in making any coding, short or long, also the codes are not easy to get, everything is wrapped in a mystery and try & error. I tried simple codes, as I said above, like the one with locking the doors when the car reach a certain speed, 15 or 30km per hour, and the OBD11 tells me it is valid and the code is accepted but practically does not work. At some point, I had to make a copy of the door key and when I was at the dealer to program it, they canceled some of my other onboard computer settings. I bought the OBD Pro version in the idea of doing my own computer settings, I have almost 1000 credits, but besides scanning the car, I can not use the device for anything else. I hope that in the coming days I will have some spare time and try to do some new codings & stuff with ODB11 and I will come back with some updates.

alexandrudd I prusume you have a Facelift MK2 Leon, I am afraid the older cars (Golf 5 & 6) do not have the range of coding to allow you to make changes.
As a first step can you confirm where you are getting your coding from so we can at least ensure this is correct for your year of car.
Second point is that some coding required the correct hardware to be in place so for example a lot of people try to do mirror dip on older Ibiza but it does not work as they dont have the correct Wing Mirror setup for this.
Last question the car that is displayed on your app is setup using the VIN number from a database that has been known to be wrong so just double check the details of the car look right.

You're absolutely right, I have a 2011 Leon MK2 with face lift. Regarding the coding source, I've searched on many sites, including a few recommended on forums here, such as forum.seatcupra.net. Indeed, I guess that not all of the codes are valid or suitable for my car. My problem is that what I try to code, are things I had originally on the car but that were changed when I was at the dealer to make a backup door key. Regarding VIN, you are right, I tried to use the VIN to look for some spare parts on www.oempc.com and it told me that the VIN is not correct. Hmmmmm...

VIN codes at oempc.com I have the same issue so would not worry about that, its more about the vin on OBD11 giving you the car that you actually have.
ok so a dealer has made some changes and now stuff is not working that helps a little.
so what stuff did the dealers change stop working

The first two changes I noticed were that the doors were not "self-locking" after the car reached 30 km/h and another thing is that now I have to press the unlocking button twice, one to unlock the driver's door, an then one more time for the other doors. Before that, I had to press once to unlock all the doors.
Another thing, but that I've fixed easily, was that when I left the dealer, I had a permanent tire pressure error.
Of course, these are not big issues, but it's frustrating that I can not fix them.

Did you have a backup of the car before you took it into the dealership by any chance.

Not a chance, I did not even have the OBD11 device at that time.

Hi I have similar problem with my 2010 Touareg TDI 39 control units respond after first scan. But now only 19 after comfort windows in app option was used, 20 other units now Amber black with message 'control unit is not responding' 10 credits used without no luck. Even worse, no response from modules like: Engine, parking assistance, lights control and more

I receive the “check ignition and try again” error when I try to enable open valves through Apps, and through the long coding. - i have followed the correct method of setting Race mode, leaving it in gear, ignition on and engine off. - I have tried with bonnet open to trigger maintenance mode - I have tried with engine on, and engine off.
Nothing seems to be working.. Audi TT MK3
